Lillyapple you loved playing the Very Hungry Caterpillar board game. What fun you had spinning the spinner.

You played the Very Hungry Caterpillar Bingo game too.

You had to collect all the food that the caterpillar ate, as you moved your caterpillar around the board.

You had to verbally tell me a sentence when you landed on the object. What great talking Lillyapple!

Our Art Deco Steam Train Stories

Paige and Lillyapple wrote these stories during writing time with me. Both the girls published their own stories using my iPad. They hope you enjoy listening to them read.

Caterpillars and Butterflies

Paige and Lillyapple have been watching the tiny caterpillars change into beautiful butterflies..

A tiny caterpillar hatches out of a butterfly egg.

The caterpillar was very hungry and ate all the swan plant leaves.

It grew bigger and bigger.

The caterpillar turned into a cocoon.

A butterfly began to hatch out of the cocoon.

 There was great excitement when the girls saw the buterflies hatch out.

Art Deco Steam Train Trip to Cornwall Park

On Monday the 23rd of February you both dressed up in your Art Deco clothes. The whole school was travelling by bus to the train station to board the steam train to Hastings. Everyone looked amazing in their Art Deco costumes.

You both were so excited about going on the bus again.

 We got off the steam train and travelled by bus to Cornwall Park.
 Here you had a picnic, saw the birds and played on the playground.

Lillyapple you loved this! You laughed so much when you bounced up into the air and then came back down.

Your big sister Charlotte, was so pleased to see you Paige, that she gave you a big hug!

 You drove this car Paige. What fun!
